Hello Blog! It’s my first blog after upgrading and moving my blog in here.
Things got so busy and of course since I move and I stop I lost my PR and lost my followers as well.
Well the good thing is I am back into blogging and I will work very hard again to bring back my blog alive.
So what I have been to for the last 8 months while I’m away from blogging?
I was so busy house setting and boarding new cats new dogs.
Add on to this I have rescued 2 more cats but happy to tell I manage to find a new home for more cats this year! I was blessed they got adopted.
My recent long staying guest which is now six months is a six months old cat named PreyVeng.
Preyveng when she is too months old.
PreyVeng is genetically crippled back legs; she is inborn with this handicap.
December last year before Christmas that PreyVeng mum e-mailed me. She said she went to several pet boarding facilities and no one accepts Preyveng due to her handicap.
So I guess I am the weak heart among all of them in Phnom Penh Cambodia.
I received Shoko’s e-mail about her rescued cat she determine to raise the cat and eventually will bring to Japan is she will survived while she is growing.
That time her issues is she is sick and eventually her NGO have to send her back home to Japan , she will then be cut off from work, her benefits of having a house and visa to stay in Cambodia.
When I received her -mail is was nearly midnight those are the time that I check my e-mails and update my face book page of https://www.facebook.com/Myfurryplace also the time that I answer my e-mails and read some little news what’s happening in the planet earth. The times were I get some peace from the dogs and cats when they are start snoozing. I am awake. Yeah I know you think I’m an owl!
But I sleep late I also wake up early I have to bring out the dogs and prepared their breakfast.
That same with the cats. It’s a daily routine. What happened when you have no kids, but more on furry kids?
Shoko’s e-mail makes my heart weak. How can you turn down to help a young lady who needs help those days , she is very strong in her will that she will bring Preyveng to Japan. She did not listen to those people who all said, why look after a handicap cat?? Better put her to sleep!!
I feel terrible when I read that. So I did not hesitate to say yes to her. I also tell my husband about her story and he said as long as you have time and you can do it. Then help her.
She sends me photos of Preyveng she is adorable cat and refuse to just pass her life and her chance to live in this world. She fights back and although with her handicap she is strong cat. She eats well and has a strong spirit. When I saw her in person she is a tiny cat, her mother Shoko who adopted her looks really sick. I know then she needs help. I have opened my arms wide to help both her and the cat.
I am so determined then that I raise the cat even with her handicap.
This story seems to be long so I need to continue this blog with part 2 or 3 later on.
For the meantime I want you all know that I am back to blogging. I hope my followers will eventually find me again and catch up with me. So till me met again ….. [Read more…]
